HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Local students raised hundreds of dollars for a Tri-State animal shelter.
According to a post on social media, the Longest Elementary 3rd Grade Lemonade Wars raised $460 dollars.
Students donated it to the Muhlenberg County Humane Society.
Shelter officials said they were able to use the money to buy a full skid of dog food from Tractor Supply.
