Study: Americans prefer to travel domestically this summer

With summertime quickly approaching, many Americans would prefer to travel domestically than internationally. That’s according to a new study.

For summer travel abroad, Kentuckians prefer to visit Canada, Bahamas, Jamaica and Italy.

Hoosiers prefer to visit Germany, Canada, United Kingdom, and Italy.

And residents in Illinois prefer to travel to France, Canada and Italy.

The latest data on trending summer destinations comes from the travel insurance comparison site InsureMyTrip.com.
