Study shows Juul use increased in 2019


(WEHT)- The Truth Initiative an anti-tobacco advocacy group found Juul use doubled among 15 to 34 years olds. The percentage of people who tried Juul went up from 6% in 2018 to almost 14% in 2019.

The company has been the focus of a number of investigations and lawsuits targeting the issues of vaping among youth.

Since the study’s data was collected Juul has removed flavored products form the U.S. market due to underage use.
