Just like any PGA event, the United Leasing and Finance Championship Tournament is a lot more than just a week on the links.

The PGA Tour Wives Association made sure of that, as the Web.com Tour golfers better halves traded Victoria National Wednesday afternoon for the Newburgh Walmart.

The association paired up with the Tri-State’s Youth First. The goal: to stuff the caddy, or Cadillac, with supplies and donations for local youth in need.

It’s part of Golf Gives Back.

One PGA girlfriend, a Vincennes native, says the event meant that much more to her coming back to play, as well as give close to her and her boyfriend, Adam Chanks Roots.

Youth First says this year’s Stuff the Caddy event reached their goal by stuffing both Cadillac’s to the brim with donations.

According to Youth First, a little more than $1,600 was raised at the event.

Even though Stuff the Caddy only lasted from 10-2 Wednesday afternoon, the PGA Tour Wives say they will be accepting donations all week.
