Sugar Creek Bridge to close for construction

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – While one bridge reopens, a bridge in Hopkins County closes.

Kentucky 70 and Beulah Road – west of Madisonville – will close starting September 16th for construction on Sugar Creek Bridge

This closure is expected to be in place for about 50 days, which means it would reopen in early November.

Detours will be marked through Earlington, Kentucky.

This project is part of Bridging Kentucky Program, which seeks to repair 1,000 critical bridges over four years.
