The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office has identified two people arrested in connection to a fatal shooting and mobile home fire.

Sheriff Tim Bottoms confirms that Jacob Wilson and Ashley Robling are in custody in Illinois.

Wilson has been charged with the murder of 62-year-old Samuel Keith Bethe, according to the sheriff’s office.

Bethe was found dead inside a Buckskin mobile home that was on fire Friday. The sheriff’s office said Bethe was shot to death inside the home on South 850 East.

Wilson and Robling allegedly drove a truck from the scene to a travel center in Paducah, where they got into a car and drove to Illinois.

On Saturday, the Gibson County Sheriff said the car was found wrecked in Union County, Illinois. Wilson and Robling were found near the area.

Robling is being held on a Level 6 felony probation violation. Both are expected to eventually face the charges back in Indiana.
