(WEHT)- The Better Business Bureau is trying to raise awareness for tax season scams with the annual Tax Identity Theft Awareness Week, starting Monday.
The organization says all a scammer needs is your social security number to steal your tax return and also says to watch out for IRS impostors. And if you get a call from someone demanding money immediately, do NOT pay them.
Tax Identity Theft Awareness Week starts Monday and runs until Friday.
