A western Kentucky high school teacher has been arrested after allegedly taking money from the Ohio County Teacher’s Association.
According to Kentucky State Police, Kenneth Alford was arrested on Wednesday.
Troopers say the investigation began last October following a discrepancy in an account Alford was in charge of.
Alford teaches at Ohio County High School and is accused of taking an undetermined amount of money from the association between 2012 and 2015.
A grand jury indicted Alford on Tuesday.
KSP says the investigation is ongoing.
Alford has since bonded out of jail.
