The teen accused of shooting four other teens near Cherry and Bedford in Evansville last week has his first scheduled court hearing on Monday.

16-year-old Jarnell Carter is charged with four counts of attempted murder and is being tried as an adult.

Police say Carter is part of the “D Block Gang” which has been feuding with another gang called the “Cream Team.”

Carter has denied being at the scene at the time of the shooting.

The four victims suffered only minor injuries.

Carter’s hearing started at 10 a.m.
