Teen sentenced in connection to 2018 Evansville shooting

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – An 18-year-old is sentenced to 25 years in prison in connection with an Evansville shooting last November.

Terry Adams pleaded guilty to attempted murder and in return an armed robbery charge was dropped.

Prosecutors claim Adams and Kyavion Brown met a 15-year-old near Englewood and Jackson in November for a drug deal.

During the drug deal, the 15-year-old was shot, but he survived.

The case against Brown is pending.
