The Old Courthouse Catacombs & House of Lector ready for new season

It's that time of year. The Old Courthouse Catacombs and House of Lector are getting ready for another season of hauntings.

"Both buildings have been documented by Indiana Ghost Trackers for having paranormal activity, they are haunted indeed," said Designer Phil Wolter.

This year's theme is all about classic monsters like Frankenstein and Dracula.

"This is the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's famous story novel Frankenstein," said Wolter "perhaps one of the greatest ones of all time."

Friday night, the live action characters met for orientation to prepare for opening night next Friday

Some of the actors have been scaring people in the basement of the Olde Courthouse for more than two decades. When Eyewitness News asked an actor the best way to scare someone, they said go for the people in the middle. "Get the middle people, thats the best scare ever," said Jack Mcginnis.

This Classic Monster theme will not be over at the end of this season. They will be bringing it back for a second part next year.
