Thorobred West wet-dry vote scheduled for today in Daviess County

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) — A small portion of Daviess County in one of the busiest parts of Owensboro will be heading to the polls for an alcohol vote on Tuesday.

The Daviess County Clerk’s Office says the Thorobred West West precinct is one of two remaining dry areas along the Hwy. 54 strip.

There are a little more than 530 voters eligible to cast ballots.

Tuesday’s vote comes after a petition circulated in the area.

Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Highland Elementary School.
