Thousands expected for the 45th annual Frog Follies

EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – The 45th annual Frog Follies revs up at the Vanderburgh County 4-H fairgrounds this weekend.

Street rod drivers come from across the Tri-State and the country for this weekend’s festival.

Organizers expect close to 3,000 vehicles this year.

Barry Howell says the friendships are what make the experience.

“The bonds go way beyond just the cars. They start at the cars then they go deep within.”We have two friends of ours that are getting married September 21st and we met them right here. We’re going to be there for when they start their life together and that means a lot.”

The event runs through Sunday.

Admission is five dollars

Kids 12 and under get in for free.
