Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Thirty thousand people are expected to visit downtown Evansville over the next two weekends.

The annual Jehovah’s Witness Convention will be at the Ford Center.

The motto this year is “Love Never Fails”.

Bible readings guide lessons throughout the day.

The program teaches how the bible can help in practical ways.

They will address prejudice and overcoming hate.

“If we’re a loving person, if we express love and concern and respect for the other party, that relationship is going to go markedly better. If we think about ourselves second and the other person first, you can almost never go wrong.”

The Jehovah’s Witness Convention is free and open to the public.

It’s at the Ford Center this weekend and next weekend.
