Three Owensboro businessmen honored for their contributions to the business community, region

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – Three Owensboro businessmen will be honored for their contributions to the business community and the region.

Independence Bank CEO Chris Reid, Michael Horn of Horn Industrial Companies, and modern welding founder John Pete Barnard will be inducted to the Owensboro Business Hall of Fame.

They were named for their contributions to the area and their business excellence and entrepreneurial spirit.

“It’s a great class, and all the people here, they’re my friends, my neighbors, people we worked together with and get things done. To be included with them in this honor is just amazing.”

German American Bank has also been announced as the new Hall of Fame sponsor.

The induction is scheduled for January 14th.
