HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A nationwide manhunt for an Alabama prisoner and a corrections officer who allegedly helped him escape ended in Evansville exactly one year ago.
Casey White was charged with the murder of Connie Ridgeway in 2020. While he was incarcerated in the Lauderdale County Jail, authorities say he had a romantic relationship with corrections officer Vicky White. On April 29, the two were reported missing from the Lauderdale County Jail.
