Toys “R” Us announces it’s closing or selling of all U.S. stores.
The company filed for bankruptcy just six months ago struggling to survive in a world of online retailers. More than 30,000 jobs are at risk.
Tri-Staters reacted to the news by remembering a favorite time when they were small, walking down the aisles and finding that perfect toy.
“I got the Star Wars action figure Obi Wan Kenobi,” said Shelby Gillian. “He had a light saber and everything. You could change his cloak. It was my favorite.”
All Babies “R” Us stores will close as well. No date has been announced yet on when Tri-State stores will close.
