Update: Southbound Twin Bridge has reopened following accident

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The southbound bridge has reopened following an accident.

Traffic was backed up all the way to Riverside Dr. in Evansville and on I-69 near the Green River Rd. Exit.

We’ve been told the bridge has reopened and traffic is moving through the area.

Update (5:54 p.m.)

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Traffic is backed on the southbound Twin Bridge and I-69 near the Green River Rd. Exit.

This is due to an accident south of the bridges in Henderson.

Traffic is backed up to the Green River Rd. Exit on I-69.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

It’s unclear how long traffic will be backed up.

The traffic is backed up to Riverside Dr. in Evansville.
