A traffic shift is scheduled for the Natcher Parkway work zone in Ohio County starting Thursday night.
A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to alter the current traffic configuration for the final phase of reconstruction.
There will be one lane running southbound and one lane running northbound.
Previously, two-way traffic has been running on the northbound lanes to allow work along the southbound lanes.
Starting Friday, traffic will be altered so that two-way traffic will take place in the southbound lanes so that work can be done on the northbound lanes. That pattern is expected to be in place until sometime around November 1.
