Fifteen people arrested in “Operation Take Back”

Owensboro, KY (WEHT) – Fifteen people in Owensboro were arrested as a part of “Operation Take Back.”
Members from the Owensboro Police Department, Kentucky State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms made the arrests and say they seized 7 guns and more than 4 ounces of meth.
39 year old Willie E. Barksdale Jr of Owensboro was charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
24 year old Edward Boehman, 38 year old Justin Hellman, 33 year old Gerald Payne, 38 year old Chad D. Drake, 35 year old Joshua Smith, and 32 year old Jaymes Devine of Owensboro were all charged with trafficking a controlled substance.
31 year old Douglas Allen of Owensboro was charged with trafficking a controlled substance and on a warrant for failure to appear.
29 year old Donald Brown of Owensboro was arrested on 2 warrants for contempt of court.
45 year old Clint Fulkerson and 35 year old Jerri White were charged with two counts of possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
61 year old Cindy Cavanaugh of Utica, Kentucky and 18 year old Kalaha Elliot of Owensboro were arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
60 year old Gerri Rickard and 50 year old James Evans of Owensboro were both charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
