Traveling City Hall to Discuss Area Drug Trends

Evansville’s ‘Traveling City Hall’ meeting is taking place on Wednesday at the Academy for Innovative Studies, the former North High School on Stringtown Road.

The meeting runs from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Evansville Police Department Lt. Tim Everley, the commander of the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force, is presenting an update on the drug trends in the area.

Everley will detail information concerning local arrests, drug seizures, clandestine meth lab numbers, and nationwide trends concerning the importing of crystal methamphetamine into the United States.

Mayor Winnecke and city department heads will also be available to discuss issues related to city government.
