Traveling city hall to discuss First Ave. Water Main replacement project

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville Water & Sewer Utility officials will be presenting an overview of the First Avenue Water Main replacement project on Wednesday.

The meeting will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College.

The project is estimated to include 7,900 feet of new 4-to-36-inch water main pipe.

The new line will be installed from the Pigeon Creek Bridge north to Ivy Tech.

The goal is to increase water supply and improve distribution.

The public is encouraged to attend and ask questions.

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and city department heads are scheduled to be in attendance.
