Tri-State disc golfers participate in annual Ice Bowl

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- Organizers say they raised more than $1000 Sunday at Mesker Park in the 15th Ace Eagle Ice Bowl, benefitting the Tri-State Food Bank.

Organizers say they hope to expand the sport of disc golf by opening new courses across the Tri-State. The event featured two rounds, one with a randomly chosen partner and one solo round.

The entry fee was $20 and participants could buy mulligans for $20 in the partner round and for $1 in the solo round. Champions were determined by combining the scores from both rounds and a special trophy for presented to the top three teams.

The event also featured a potluck lunch. Information on the event can be found here.
