SEATTLE, Wash. (WEHT) – Archbishop Paul Etienne, the new leader of the Seattle Archdiocese, is getting some attention for a decision he made to live more modestly.

The archbishop is from the Tri-State area and has two brothers who are leaders of Catholic churches here in Evansville, Reverend Zach Etienne of Good Shepherd Church and Father Bernie Etienne of Holy Rosary Church.

Eyewitness News’ Kelly Austin talked with Father Etienne about his brother’s decision.

Father Etienne believes his brother, the Archbishop, was following Pope Francis’ witness when he turned down living in a mansion owned by the church.
