GIBSON COUNTY, IND. (WEHT) – A trial date is set for the Gibson County clerk accused of pulling a gun on a man during a fight in April. Jim Morrow will go to trial on February 18, 2020.

Authorities say Morrow got into a heated argument with a man outside Sam’s Food Mart in Princeton on April 30. Police say cell phone video shows Morrow walked away then returned with a pistol.

Morrow reported the incident to officers, saying the other man was the aggressor. But police say video shows Morrow pointing the gun into the man’s back while he was against a vehicle which had two young children inside. The victim and witnesses told police Morrow smelled of alcohol.

Morrow faces several charges including battery with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness.
