HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A trial date has been set for a Henderson man accused of killing his estranged wife.
Police say Mohamud Abdikadir got into a fight with Chloe Randolph on March 23rd. They say during the fight he hit her in the head with a hammer three times, causing her to fall down.
He told police he didn’t know how many times he hit her with the hammer while she was on the rug in the living room.
According to poilice, Abdikadir said Chloe passed out out and he cut her throat while she was unconscious, then hid her body in a closet.
Abdikadir was later found in Arkansas with the couple’s infant son and was returned to Henderson.
His trial date is set for August 28, 2019.
