Truckers pinch pennies to help save a life

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky, (WEHT)- A group of truckers is teaming up with a Daviess County school to help a student who is waiting for a transplant.

“Truckers Helping Hands” donated $320 dollars in pennies for Sorgho Elementry “Pennies for Ruby” campaign.

The money will help Ruby Kelson, a kindergartner who is waiting for a liver transplant.

The school raised nearly $4,000 during the 5-day campaign.
