Two accidents slow traffic on US 41; one semi catches fire

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Traffic on Highway 41 in northern Vanderburgh County is running smoothly after two semi accidents slowed down traffic.

The accident happened Friday morning near the intersection of Boonville-New Harmony Rd. resulting in one semi catching fire.

The Scott Township Fire Chief said no one was injured, although the driver of the semi that caught fire was taken to the hospital to be checked.

At this time, there’s no word on what caused the accident.
