Two community organizations receive $25,000 grants


EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – Local State Farm agents donated $25,000 to some community organizations dedicated to kids.

Youth First and Hangers applied for State Farm Neighborhood Assist grants and both groups finished in the top 40 of State Farm’s nationwide program. Hangers provides clothing and basic hygiene products to students across EVSC schools. Youth First plans to use its grant to establish social workers and mental health prevention programs in schools.
