Two dozen non-profits receive grant awards from Evansville Endowment Fund

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Several Evansville organizations have received grant awards from the Evansville Endowment Fund.

The award ceremony took place at the Carver Community Organization as it celebrates its 75th anniversary.

More than $400,000 went to 24 non-profit charitable organizations in Evansville.

Grants are awarded for capital improvement projects.

“You know it’s fun to give away somebody else’s money. You know you are talking about $438,000. That’s a lot of money. And to see that you know it’s very rewarding. You know it’s something I love to do. I believe in giving back to the community.”

The Tri-State Food Bank and Holly’s House were among the organizations that received grants.
