HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Two new captains have been welcomed to the Salvation Army of Henderson.

Captains Benny and Crystal Carringer made their way to the Salvation Army Office, where they accepted their new roles.

The two captains took the chance to meet and greet visitors.

The Carringer’s say they’re anxious to learn about the community and provide resources for those in need.

“We are very excited just to see what God has in store not only for Salvation Army but for the community of Henderson in which we serve. “

“We just want to meet needs and whatever they look like whatever form that is we want to be able to be a vessel for God and be the hands and feet for this community.”

The Carringer’s say they hoped to increase the amount of family activities in the community.
