Two Owensboro schools will share the same campus next school year

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – Two of Owensboro’s newest schools will be sharing the same campus starting next school year.

Owensboro Public Schools officials say the Owensboro Innovation Academy will move from its Allen Street location to the site of iMiddle near Owensboro Middle School.

The two schools will be kept separate even though they’ll be in the same building, which is still going through renovations.

School officials say the move allows for an innovative campus in one location and saves costs on a lease they now pay at the current innovation academy site.
