Two people in custody and one person hurt after a morning shooting

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Evansville Police say two people are in custody after a shooting Saturday morning.

They arrived after getting a call for multiple shots fire on Judson Street near Bellemeade Avenue around 9 AM.

Police say they have been called to the same house for “significant similar issues in the past. ”

They say there was a shooting at the same house just after Halloween where two people were shot inside.

Police learned a man who lives in the house had been shot, but say his injuries were not life-threatening. He was taken to the hospital.

Police say a dark-colored Ford Fusion left the scene. It has an “In God We Trust” license plate.
