Two western Kentucky roads still closed due to high water

Local News

(WEHT) – High waters that covered many roads across the Tri-State are starting to go down.

Kentucky transportation officials said only two roads still had high water covering parts of the roadway:

  • Kentucky 298 just south of Owensboro
  • KY 919 between mile markers 3 – 4

One resident living near the road said he’s seen a few trucks still going through the covered road.

The other roads that were closed in Henderson, Hopkins, and other western Kentucky counties, are back open.
