UNION COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) — Workers at Union County Methodist Hospital spent Wednesday making the transition from their current facility to their new emergency department.
The new one is 5 times larger than the old one and has been in the works for years.
Along with a much larger facility, hospital officials tell us patients will also have access to newer, state of the art equipment and new medical records system.
“We’re covering mainly all of the same services we have covered in the past, but we’re moving in to a more modern area with up-to-date equipment and systems that will help us be more effective in taking care of our patients in our community here,” Benny Nolen, CEO of Union County Methodist Hospital, said.
Union County Methodist Hospital is partners with the Deaconess Health System.
