HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Dry conditions and high winds have prompted Union County Judge Executive Adam O’Nan to issue an executive order implementing a county-wide burn ban.
Several fire departments have battled numerous field and woodland fires over the past few weeks. This ban also comes as Governor Andy Beshear declares a state of emergency over due to the outbreak of multiple wildfires across the Commonwealth, primarily in Eastern Kentucky.
