EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville Police have arrested a Circle K armed robbery suspect following a standoff.
29-year-old Darion Cartwright is charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon by a felon, and theft.
The incident happened at a Circle K on South Kentucky Avenue on Monday.
Police say Cartwright was located at an apartment in the 2600 block of Sterling Drive around Noon.
EPD says he refused to get out of the apartment for a period of time, but surrendered peacefully after speaking with a family member.
He was taken into custody without further incident.

The suspect was arrested in the 2600 block of Sterling Drive after surrendering to police.
