Owensboro Police have reopened Frederica Street after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. The incident happened just after 6 p.m. near 3rd and Frederica Street.

A pedestrian has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Owensboro. It happened just after 6 p.m. near 3rd and Frederica Street.

Police have shut down southbound Frederica Street between 3rd and 4th Streets until further notice.

There’s no word on the severity of the pedestrian’s injury.

A pedestrian has been hit in Owensboro and part of Frederica Street is shut down.

Owensboro Police say the accident happened just after 6 p.m. at 3rd and Frederica Street.

Part of Frederica Street will be shut down for an unknown amount of time.

A reconstruction team is on its way to the scene.

Police say the pedestrian has a possible head injury, but there’s no word on if it’s a life threatening injury.
