Elizabeth Joanne Fox-Doerr was arrested Tuesday morning at 5:26 on an obstruction of justice charge.
According to an Evansville Police affidavit, Fox-Doerr removed a record from her cell phone the night of the murder of her husband.
According to Evansville Police, she was interviewed on February 26 after her husband was killed.
Officers say she did not mention deleting a phone call that was received moments before she called 911.
Through cell phone records, EPD was able to confirm a record of a phone call was deleted.
Fox-Doerr was interviewed again Monday night. Durning that interview she admitted to deleting that phone call.
She is booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail with no bond listed.
Her husband, Robert Doerr, was shot to death outside his Oakley Street home on February 26, 2019.
He was laid to rest at a funeral on Monday.
