US Rep. Larry Buschon opens up on COVID-19 economic impact

(WEHT)- U.S. Rep Larry Buschon says he is “concerned” about the restaurant industry amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Buschon, whose congressional district covers much of southwestern Indiana, says some predictions warn “three to five percent” of restaurants will not reopen after the pandemic. Buschon says Congress is “doing everything we can to get the money out to people.”

A recent survey from Wallethub shows 87 percent of small business owners are struggling due to the pandemic.
