EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Overall enrollment at the University of Southern Indiana is down by 2.6% from last year, but the university said graduate students are up 6.1% from last year.
The university also reported that its minority and international students make up a record 15.4% of the student body.
At USI, in-state students make up 80% of the student population.
There are students from 91 Indiana counties, 42 states, and 69 countries.
Total enrollment is at 10,734 for the 2019 fall semester with 1,537 graduate students.
The freshman class had an average GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 high school scale.
