USI reports student tests positive for coronavirus

EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) The University of Southern Indiana has been notified of the first confirmed case of COVID-19 of a student member of the community.

The positive test result was received Tuesday. The student is self-isolating.

We’re told the student was last on campus on March 25.

Officials say there is no known health risk to the USI campus.
