VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – There’s a new addition to the University of Southern Indiana’s growing engineering program.

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education has approved a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program.

It will be offered in the fall of 2019.

The degree aims to help fill an ongoing and growing need for Civil Engineers in the region and state.

School officials say with an already established foundation for the program in place, they hope to have their first graduates as early as this December.
