For the second time in one year, the University of Southern Indiana is receiving an award for its support of veterans.

The Seven Seals Award is given to businesses and organizations to recognize their support of military veterans and current soldiers, as well as their families.

Manager of Veteran Military and Family Services Joe Matherly says, “I don’t know in the history of the award, that an organization has been recognized twice in one years. So, this is a great milestone for the campus and all the support we’ve received from the campus and the community.”

USI President Dr. Linda Bennett and USI Provost Dr. Ronald Rochon accepted the award on behalf of the university.
