Vanderburgh Co. Coroner’s Office investigating Graves Co. homicide

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office is investigating a Graves County homicide.

The Coroner’s Office, the Mayfield, Kentucky Police, and the ATF are investigating the death of 23-year-old Savannah Hancock, of Mayfield.

Authorities say she was shot in her home in Mayfield on June 18th, then she was transferred to Deaconess in Evansville for treatment of her gunshot wounds.

On June 20th, Hancock died at Deaconess. An autopsy is scheduled Friday at 4 p.m.

The Mayfield Police are still investigating this incident.
