Vanderburgh Co. Fair brings in biggest crowd in event history Wednesday

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Vanderburgh County kicked off its 99th fair this week and Wednesday night brought the biggest crowd the fair has ever seen.

President Scott Berry is not releasing specific numbers, but he says Wednesday night’s fair pulled in the largest single day gate receipt in the event’s nearly 100-year history.

Some people say they waited in line on the roads for a half hour just to get inside the 4H Center.

Our recent mild weather may be one reason for increased attendance.
