A Vanderburgh County man has been found guilty by a jury on child molesting charges.

Late Tuesday night, 56-year-old Mark Allan Farmer was found guilty on two felony charges in a Vanderburgh County Superior Courtroom.

Farmer was arrested in February when a 6-year-old reported sexual acts to their mother.

The Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office said that an interview involving the child at Holly’s House detailed multiple instances of sexual abuse at the hands of Farmer.

Shortly after his arrest, law enforcement said Farmer admitted to at least two instances of sexual abuse involving the victim.

Mark Farmer is scheduled to be sentenced on January 18.
