Warning signs will be placed around Patoka River dam

JASPER, Ind. (WEHT) – An Indiana dam is now getting signs warning community members about dangerous currents.

Last week, the Jasper Common Council approved an ordinance calling for signs to be placed around the dam on the Patoka River.

The warning comes to reduce drowning risks around the river dam.

Signs should be up in the coming weeks.
