Warrick County adds more than 10 new COVID-19 cases, state cases near 10,000

INDIANAPOLIS (WEHT) The Indiana State Department of Health has announced that 611 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19. That brings to 9,542 the total number of Indiana residents known to have coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 477 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 51,115 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 48,396 on Tuesday.

In our area, 6 new cases are reported in Vanderburgh County. An additional case was reported in Posey County, bringing the total there to six. Warrick County added 12 more cases, bringing their total to 51. Dubois County now has 14 cases, up one from Wednesday.
