Warrick County Police Arrest Man Allegedly Responsible for High-Speed Chase

UPDATEWarrick County authorities have arrested the man they believe was behind the wheel during the high speed chase on Wednesday.

Sean Rickard, 19, was arrested later in the day, and is currently being detained at the Warrick County Jail.

PREVIOUS STORY: Authorities in Warrick County continue to search for a person they say led them on an overnight chase.

The pursuit began just before 2 a.m. near the Walmart on State Road 62 west of Boonville, and ended with a crash, about ten minutes later, at the intersection of Eble and Yankeetown roads.

That’s when the suspect took off on foot.

Authorities tell us the pursuit began after they noticed the occupant of the truck behaving in a suspicious manner, then taking off at a high rate of speed.

The suspect has not yet been apprehended.

Chandler Police are interested in speaking with Sean Rickard, 19, a Richland, Indiana resident who authorities say is the owner of the vehicle which crashed.
